Frame to Finish is Roanoke Valley’s premiere full-service home remodeling and renovation company. Every day, we do our part to beautify Roanoke and help the people who live here love their homes. From small projects like kitchen or bath renovations to whole home remodels, including expansions or additions, Mike Lane and his team of experienced builders treat you and your home with the respect it deserved.

When you hire a home contractor, you are trusting them to enter and renovate your home. It is a solemn responsibility and one we never forget. Our Process

So your home needs some work? Maybe you want to add a room, fix something broken, or freshen up the aesthetic. It all starts with reaching out to us.

The Arrival

Once we arrive at your home, we will take a look at the area where you would like to make changes. We will ask you several questions so we can thoroughly understand your remodeling project.

Recommendations

Once We understand your expectations and style, we will provide you with recommendations on what can be done, materials that can be used, ways to best utilize the space, and what is most cost effective for your budget.

Budget Proposal

We will talk to you about providing you a very detailed budget proposal. If an architect or draft man is necessary for providing an accurate budget proposal, depending on the scope of work. It is recommended to go through our material selection process to provide you with a budget proposal that will leave you with realistic and educated numbers. This will minimize the “change order” experiences.

Schedule

Once the agreement contract has been signed by all parties involved, we will schedule your project. We will arrive on time and put the hours in to stay ahead of schedule! Occasionally we come across unexpected damages or unpredictable obstacles during the demo process in remodeling. Occasionally we also come across opportunities to take advantage of. Do not worry; we will keep you informed and posted on all final decisions to the end of your project.

Finish

We love what we do and our enjoyment comes with your happiness with our quality, process, and job atmosphere. We keep a well-managed, organized jobsite and leave your home better than when we arrived and like we were never there. “Quality You Can Come Home To”.

About Mike Lane, Owner of Frame to Finish Construction

Frame to Finish owner, Mike Lane got his start working for his friend’s dad when he was just a teenager. It was then that he fell in love with construction, especially the creative side of it. Mike loves to see the potential in a space, come up with the solution you need, and build something where there was once nothing.

Mike Lane lives in Salem, VA with his wife Angel, 4 children, Hannah, Scarlett, Grace, & Michael, plus a dozen or so chickens. Unsurprisingly, he built the coop himself and it is nicer than many human homes!

Angel is a realtor and through her work, the Lanes encountered numerous homes, leading Mike to realize the need for quality contractors in the area. That led to Mike starting Frame to Finish Construction in 2017 to help Roanoke and Salem residents make their homes safe, sound, and beautiful.

The Lanes love taking advantage of all Roanoke has to offer from the beautiful hiking trails and scenic views to supporting the many local businesses that make the Roanoke Valley such a lovely place to live.
